Anushka Sharma

Anushka is an actor and producer from Bollywood. She is the highest-paid actor in the industry and is recognized for her work. Nush, her women's clothing brand that she runs and runs with several brands, is an spokesperson for many of them. Forbes Magazine has featured her in their magazine as well. Anushka Sharma is the child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on May 1, 1988. Anushka was born to the retired colonel. She is also a homemaker. Karnesh Singh, her brother and filmmaker, was a member of the Merchant Navy. Anushka Sharma has completed her education at the Army School, Bangalore and is currently pursuing a the Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka holds a master's degree in Arts (Economics). Anushka wasn't interested in acting, but was more interested in becoming as a journalist or model. Anushka was able to complete her education in Mumbai, enrolled at Elite Model Management. She was taught by stylist Prasad Bidapa. Her first appearance as a fashion model came in 2017 after she modelled in the shoes of Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week, and then was selected by Rodricks to appear at his spring-summer 2007 collection. Since her debut as a model in Lakme Fashion Week Anushka did several campaigns for brands like and she's done ads for the brands' Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry and Fiat Palio etc. Anushka Sharma, along with her modeling career, attended an acting class and started giving auditions for film. Anushka made her debut acting in the year 2008 in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. In her screen test she refused to perform an impromptu one and took a day to prepare herself. Later on she was cast in three films by Yash Raj Films. She portrayed the bride, who was young and tied to a man who was middle age (the persona Shah Rukh Khan was portraying). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's 'Badmash Company" with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. This movie was met with mixed reviews. In the same year, Anushka Sharma was seen in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat' alongside Ranveer Singh in the role of a middle class Punjabi girl who launches her own business of wedding planning. It received a favourable review and was widely regarded as a sleeper to be a success. The contract of Anushka's for three movies under Yash Raj Films was completed with the Band Baaja Baraat.
